Beyond tutoring, I offer services as a educational consultant, with experiences for admission to all the top boarding and day schools in the UK, and many abroad.  Often, my clients are families who either wish to move abroad, or to the UK, or who simply would like their children to experience a high quality education in one of the many fantastic schools the UK offers.  Moving country can be a stressful time, and employing a qualified consultant can often be the easiest and most efficient way to ensure the success of the move for all the family.

 

As a consultant, I work to best match your child to a school which would suit their needs and activities, whether they be academic, musical, sporting, or anything else.  I provide detailed profiles of the schools, and why they would fit your child, then continue to help you with the admissions process. I will guide you through from first contact with schools, all the way through the entrance exams, tutoring your child personally and, where necessary, recommending other tutors for specialist subjects.  From initial emails, all the way through the rigorous interview process, I am here to streamline every application, making it an easy and enjoyable experience for both you and your child. Having worked in this industry for a number of years, I have contacts at and experience with numerous schools and institutions, allowing me to give your child the fullest chance of success.  

 

After school, many of my students wish to go on to the best universities, in the UK or abroad in countries such as America, Hong Kong of further afield.  Accordingly, I offer help with the applications process, from guides to different subjects under consideration, to detailed overviews of which colleges or Universities may best suit an applicant.  Often, my students can find the sheer range of choices daunting and complicating - having worked in Oxbridge colleges, and had extensive experience with the world’s top universities, I am here to make the choices available clearer.  From this starting point, I go on to help construct an outstanding personal statement, prepare for exams such as the ELAT, and eventually help conduct thorough preparation for the rigorous and challenging interviews that are the gatekeepers to a place at Oxbridge.  For Ivy League and US universities, I also tutor the SAT, the initial stepping stone to entrance.
